CLEVELAND — LeBron and Shaq will visit Kobe on Christmas Day.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 25, one of the marquee matchups announced by the NBA, which released its 2009-10 schedule on Tuesday. The game will feature LeBron James and new teammate Shaquille O'Neal against Kobe Bryant.
O'Neal will make his debut with the Cavs on Oct. 27, when they open at home against the Boston Celtics.
Bryant and the world champion Lakers will begin defense of their title the same night against the cross-town Clippers and rookie Blake Griffin, the No. 1 selection in this year's draft.
Also on Christmas Day, the Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic, who added Vince Carter this summer, will host the Celtics in a rematch of last season's conference finals.
