LeBron James was in Illinois on Tuesday to help a local United Way chapter raise some funds and have some fun with a bunch of needy youngsters.
Getting ready for the Chicago preview of his movie, "More Than A Game,'' he joined up with State Farm Insurance employees to help raise $16,000 for the McLean County United Way in Bloomington, Ill.
After addressing the youngsters, the NBA MVP joined the kids for a shoot around. In a parting challenge, James made a half-court shot and gave the youngsters new pairs of basketball shoes.
