Lakers Celebration Tour 2009-2010 Season

Yup the NBA schedule for the 2009-2010 season was released today, and the first date anyone looks at is Christmas Day. The Lakers, of course, are playing the marquee game hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers at 2 pm.
The Lakers will open the season receiving their championship rings prior to the game against the Clippers on TNT. You read that right. The Clippers will be shown on national tv. Of course if the Clippers somehow become hot, fans can vote for their game to be shown on NBA TV.
For the Lakers they will be on TNT nine times, ABC six times and on ESPN 10 times, so people around the country will have 25 opportunities to see how Ron Artest gels with the championship team.
As always the Lakers schedule back-loads the road games. In November and December the Lakers play only 11 road games while in January and March they have 22. In the month of March they're at home only four games, so just make sure you keep your couch warm.
Since I know old habits are hard to break, let me remind everyone that all Laker games will now be heard on AM 710 KSPN. After decades being on AM 570 KLAC, the Lakers decided to take advantage of KSPN moving their operations to LA Live. It also didn't hurt that ESPN broadcasts the late editions of SportsCenter from LA Live either.
